Mountain Vision Care Optometry PLLC is an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not currently participate with insurance plans. However, we are happy to provide our patients with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
This model allows us to have simplified, transparent pricing for all of our services, keep our prices affordable and consistent, and maximize our time with each patient.
Please note that not every type of insurance plan is eligible for reimbursement so please send us a message, give us a call, or contact your insurance provider for specific questions related to your plan.
This is exam checks the vision and eye health. We will check your prescription for glasses, your eye pressure, and check the overall health of your eyes. Doing this exam with a dilation allows for a better assessment of conditions such as cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma, or other retinal health concerns.
*Please note that on your itemized receipt, this exam will be broken down into two parts: the eye health exam ($70) and the refraction exam to check the glasses prescription ($25).
This is an add-on to the comprehensive exam to ensure the safest and most comfortable contact lens fit. We will take the time to teach you how to safely insert, remove, and take care of your contact lenses. Follow-up visits and a pair of trial contacts are included.

This is an exam for a specific concern, such as a red eye or new floaters in the vision. This exam may include dilation if necessary; it depends on what is bothering you. A refraction for glasses is not included. The exam includes one follow-up.
If any further follow-up visits are required beyond the initial included follow-up.
A basic vision screening for renewing a driver‘s license with the DMV. Does not include a check for glasses or routine health screening.
We are located inside Sam’s Club next to the optical. Please note that you do not need to be a member of Sam’s Club to get a vision exam at Mountain Vision Care Optometry, PLLC. However, you will need a membership to purchase glasses or contacts at the Optical.
