Mountain Vision Care Optometry PLLC is an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not currently participate with insurance plans. However, we are happy to provide our patients with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
This model allows us to have simplified, transparent pricing for all of our services, keep our prices affordable and consistent, and maximize our time with each patient.
Please note that not every type of insurance plan is eligible for reimbursement so please send us a message, give us a call, or contact your insurance provider for specific questions related to your plan.
A comprehensive eye exam, which includes a dilation and checking your prescription for glasses, costs $95, but we have other services available and listed in the Services section of our website. We value simple, transparent pricing for all of our services, and aim to keep the prices as low as possible.
A contact lens fitting is a add-on to the comprehensive exam to ensure that the contacts you will wear offer the safest and most comfortable fit. Because contacts sit directly on your eye, it is crucial that they are moving and centering adequately, to prevent complications such as irritation, inflammation, infection, and corneal ulcers. If you are new to contacts, we will take the time to teach you how to safely insert, remove, and take care of your contact lenses. With a contact lens fitting, follow-up visits and a pair of trial contacts are included.
No! While some offices do charge extra depending on the strength or complexity of your prescription, here at Mountain Vision Care Optometry, PLLC we believe that you should not have to pay more for factors outside of your control. Whether you have astigmatism or require multifocal lenses, your fitting fee will be the same. The only thing that determines the cost of the fitting fee is whether you have worn contacts before or not. For a new wearer, the fitting fee is $30 more expensive because we take the time to teach you how to safely and properly insert, remove, and care for your contacts.
